Nerlos

Nerlos is a technology company developing the Active Multiplexer Unit (AMU) — a communication-enabling solution designed to improve coverage, resilience, and flexibility for public safety and first-responder networks while reducing infrastructure complexity.

The AMU allows multiple radio systems to operate through simplified physical infrastructure, supporting infrastructure-light deployment, reduced antenna and cabling requirements, and improved operational continuity in constrained or disrupted environments. This makes it particularly relevant for emergency response, disaster-affected areas, temporary command sites, and critical public-service operations.

Nerlos’ approach focuses on compatibility with existing communication systems, enabling upgrades to resilience and coverage without requiring full system replacement.

Nerlos seeks participation in Horizon Europe Cluster 3 collaborative projects related to disaster resilience, crisis-response communications, and secure public-safety networks, and is interested in working with research organizations, public authorities, and industry partners under the 2026–2027 Work Programme.
