Dielectric Materials for Electrical Applications
Details
We offer scientific and technical expertise in the field of electroinsulating polymer composites, with a focus on cured thermoset materials such as polyurethane and epoxy. Our research addresses the major challenge of non-recyclable polymer waste in electrotechnical systems, including transformers, cables, and encapsulated components.
We have developed and validated a process for converting this waste into functional fillers for new composite systems, maintaining key electrical and thermal properties. Our expertise covers dielectric spectroscopy, composite formulation, materials characterization, and environmental aspects of polymer recycling. We are open to collaboration in EU projects, standardization activities, and industrial testing.
