Making is thinking – HORIZON-MISS-2024-NEB-01-02
Details
We use making as a method to challenge and promote the learning and innovation skills of groups. Therefore we develop innovative formats, methods and tools with impact. Manual creation in the workshop as a place of transformation supports teams in their communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity. This gives rise to new solutions for shaping our futures. Our Alternative Lab for Future Skills serves as a make, learn and think lab to prototype and give space to innovative and transformative processes. Created artefacts offer multiple perspectives, extraordinary correlations and constructive ambiguities for a deep dive into a topic. Our tools and methods contain a wide range - we e.g. include embodiment, art-based and playful approaches, which we consider as a base for our co-creation processes.
Currently we run an open innovation process in that area funded by the The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), facilitate different workshops and offer different teacher and student programs.
We seek partners to increase our impact in a bigger scope, which helps to grow learning and innovation skills, to actively shape our future.
Interesting upcoming calls where we would be interested in participating in your project include "New governance models for the co-design and co-construction of public spaces in neighborhoods by communities" (HORIZON-MISS-2024-NEB-01-02).
