Thomas Zemen

Principal Scientist

AIT Austrian Institute of Technology

Wien, Österreich

Principal Scientist at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology: 6G physical layer technologies for distributed MIMO systems, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, joint communication and sensing, site-specific radio channel models.

Meine Organisation

AIT Austrian Institute of Technology is Austria’s largest Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) performing applied research for industry and enabling the market exploitation of innovative infrastructure related solutions. In this function AIT is bridging the gap between basic research at universities and technology commercialisation at industry. Scientists at AIT’s Bioresources Unit develop new technologies and tools aimed at increasing the exploitation of plant and microbial resources as well as a more efficient detection of airborne and environmental pathogens. The team’s goals are to make advancements in sustainable crop production and pest control and to develop microbe-based solutions for the bioeconomy. One of the strategic research areas of the Bioresources Unit is formulation development of biologicals (especially microbes) including coating, encapsulation and granulation. Bioresources Unit is a reliable and well-respected scientific partner to industry, academia and public institutions.
